Disability Resources

  • Disability Services: Provides accommodations and support services for MU students with disabilities and assists faculty and departments in working with students with disabilities.

  • Office of the ADA Coordinator: Coordinates MU compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and related laws.

  • Adaptive Computing Technology Center: Helps students, faculty and staff with disabilities by assessing needs, offering training and helping with access to computing resources.

  • Assessment and Consultation Clinic: Provides fee-based assessment, counseling and consultation to people dealing with disabilities and other conditions.

  • Persons with Disabilities Committee: Advises the MU provost on programs, services and policies that affect disabled students, faculty, staff and visitors.

  • DBTAC-Great Plains ADA Center: provides technical assistance, training, and materials on all areas of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related disability laws to individuals and entities in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
